Amble Schools' Leadership Programme

Hearing of the successful programme at Bedlingtonshire the Headteacher asked NLC for a similar programme.

Bedlingtonshire High School, Northumberland
The headteacher wanted an external consultant to work with the leadership team over an 18 month period with four-hour in-puts once per half term. Rather than using existing leadership programmes (four of the team are NPQH graduates) the head asked for a bespoke programme based on units written for the North Leadership Centre's work with businesses.

Chillingham Road Primary School, Newcastle
The Head wanted the successful Senior Leadership Team to re-evaluate the future direction of the school with the help of an external facilitator.

Westerhope Primary School, Newcastle
A new senior leadership team had recently come into being. By exploring whole school issues with an external facilitator the team learnt to use the strengths of its members and reflect on its working practices.
